Editing Tables
Learn about table editing tools and how to use them.

After capturing line items during Review, the extracted line items will be populated into a table on the right side of the screen. This page provides a summary of the table editing tools and how to use them.

Basic Actions

  • Delete table β€” Remove a table by clicking Delete Table.

  • Capture new table β€” Capture a new table at any time by clicking Capture.

Note: You can't have multiple tables on the same page. Capturing a new table if one already exists for the current page will overwrite the existing table.

  • Edit cells β€” Click any non-header cell to enter edit mode and begin typing.


Column Headers

  • Map unknown headers β€” Unknown headers are represented with an empty label icon. Map any unknown header by clicking the label icon and selecting a header from the dropdown.

πŸ’‘ Tip: A header can only be mapped to one column at a time. Selecting a header that is already mapped to another column will remove the mapping from the original column.

  • Unmap a header β€” Unmap a header from a column by clicking the label icon and clicking X. Unmapped columns and their associated data won't be included in your final export.


Columns

  • Insert a column β€” While hovering over any cell, click the down arrow and select "Insert column".

  • Insert a column β€” While hovering between any two columns at the table boundary, click "+" arrow.

  • Delete a column β€” While hovering over any cell, click the down arrow and select "Delete column"

  • Delete columns β€” After selecting one or more columns, click trash icon that appears over the column header.

  • Delete columns β€” After selecting multiple cells, click the down arrow and select "Delete columns"


Rows

  • Insert a row β€” While hovering over any non-header cell, click the down arrow and select Insert row. The new column will be added above.

  • Insert a row β€” While hovering between any two rows at the table boundary, click "+" arrow.

  • Delete a row β€” While hovering over any non-header cell, click the down arrow and select Delete row.

  • Delete rows β€” After selecting one or more rows, click trash icon that appears to the left side of the row.

  • Delete rows β€” After selecting multiple cells, click the down arrow and select "Delete rows"


Cells

Clear multiple cells -- After selecting several cells, hit the delete key or click on "Clear cells" in the context menu.
